For years, GREGATRON has built a reputation behind the scenes as a producer, composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist whose work has helped shape songs across Christian, pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. Now, he’s stepping into a new chapter with the release of “Safety,” his first solo artist single and debut release with WieRok Records.

Featuring vocals from Cooper Carr, “Safety” pairs soaring melodies with driving electronic production, creating a track that feels equally at home on workout playlists, late-night drives, and festival speakers. Rather than leaning on one musical lane, the song reflects the genre-blending approach that has become synonymous with GREGATRON‘s work—combining polished pop sensibilities, EDM energy, and cinematic production into a sound that’s unmistakably his own.

While GREGATRON has collaborated with artists including for KING & COUNTRY, Sean Rodriguez, Selah, Earnest Pugh, Limoblaze, Liam Payne, 1K Phew, and Hannah Schaefer, “Safety” marks the first time listeners experience his creative vision as the featured artist from start to finish.

The release also follows a milestone year for the Atlanta-based producer, who earned Dance/Remix Song of the Year at the 2025 NRT We Love Christian Music Awards for his remix of for KING & COUNTRY’s “What Are We Waiting For?”

Written by GREGATRON and Cooper Carr, “Safety” was co-produced by GREGATRON, Cooper Carr, and Nitro X, with mastering by Mike Cervantes. GREGATRON also performs drums, bass, and synthesizers on the track, while Nitro X contributes keyboards and Cooper Carr delivers the lead vocal.

As both a debut artist release and the beginning of a new partnership with WieRok Records, “Safety” introduces another side of an artist whose work has long been recognized behind the console. It’s an energetic first statement that hints at even more to come.
