About Jenn Chenoweth
Born and raised in South Florida, Jenn Chenoweth has been leading worship since she was nine years old. Raised in a family deeply rooted in ministry, she grew up surrounded by music, the local church, and a passion for helping people encounter God. During her time at Southeastern University, Jenn became part of SEU Worship, lending her voice to songs including “Beautiful Mercy” and “Be Strong.” Those formative years helped shape both her calling as a worship leader and her heart for songwriting.
Since then, Jenn has continued to serve through worship ministry while writing songs that honestly reflect both the beauty and the struggles of the Christian life. Rather than offering easy answers, her music points listeners toward the hope, freedom, and peace found in Jesus, inviting them to encounter God in the middle of real questions and everyday life.
Her songwriting has been deeply shaped by personal experience. In 2019, a severe jaw injury led to years of chronic pain from TMJ disorder, bringing seasons of anxiety, depression, and uncertainty that at times threatened her ability to sing. Through that difficult season, Jenn came to know God more deeply as her Shepherd, Father, and faithful Friend. Those experiences continue to give her music an authenticity that resonates with those walking through suffering, healing, or doubt.
Jenn released her debut EP, Out To Get Me, in 2025, a collection of songs centered on God’s loving pursuit of His children and the freedom found in surrendering to His grace. She has also led worship at churches, conferences, and ministry events, including the SEU Conference, Khalla Festival in Lima, Peru, and the VIP Conference with Tim Tebow.
Jenn is especially passionate about encouraging those navigating mental health struggles, chronic pain, and the confusion that can come from harmful theology. Having experienced the faithfulness and kindness of God through her own journey, her prayer is that every song would remind listeners they are deeply loved, never alone, and always invited to find hope in Christ.
