Dan Macal is a Nashville-based producer, songwriter, mixer, and multi-instrumentalist with over a decade of experience in the music industry.
Known for his musical intuition and artist-first approach, Dan has built a reputation for crafting records that are both sonically polished and emotionally resonant. His production credits include work with Sean Rodriguez, Jordan St. Cyr, Grace + Max, Michael Sarver, Rolling Hills Worship, and Sidewalk Prophets, spanning studio production, songwriting, and creative development.
Dan first gained national recognition as a member of the Dove Award-winning band Sidewalk Prophets, where he played a key role in the group’s musical evolution before stepping away from touring in 2025.
Since then, he has remained an in-demand collaborator in Nashville, contributing as a session guitarist and producer for artists such as Carrie Underwood (live guitars), Jordan St. Cyr (production and live), and Rolling Hills Worship (production and live).
