Christian artist and songwriter Sean Rodriguez has released his new single, “Just Like God,” now available on all major digital streaming platforms.

Written by Rodriguez alongside GRAMMY and Dove Award–winning songwriter Seth Mosley, acclaimed songwriter Tony Wood, and former Sidewalk Prophets member Dan Macal, “Just Like God” offers a thoughtful, upbeat reflection on God’s character—His grace, faithfulness, and presence in everyday life. The song balances an accessible, modern sound with lyrics rooted firmly in Christian truth, continuing Rodriguez’s commitment to creating music that resonates with faith-based audiences.

The track was produced by Seth Mosley and mixed by Michael “X” O’Connor, delivering a polished, radio-ready sound that supports the song’s message without overshadowing its lyrical focus.

“‘Just Like God’ is about recognizing God’s consistency—how He meets us with grace and mercy even when we don’t expect it,” Rodriguez explains. “It’s a reminder of who He is and how He works in real life, not just ideal moments.”

The release follows a period of significant momentum for Rodriguez. In 2025, he experienced substantial growth across digital streaming platforms, increasing from 2.1 million total streams in 2024 to 10.4 million streams in 2025 across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and Pandora.

Much of that growth was driven by the success of his rock crossover collaboration with Disciple, “It Is Finished,” which sustained an eight-plus month run on the Christian Music Weekly (CMW) Rock Chart, including 10 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1. The track helped introduce Rodriguez to a broader segment of the Christian rock audience while reinforcing his credibility within the Christian music space.
